Beautiful location - a great place to get away from everything. The hot tub and views were a daily treat and we loved our daily greetings from the cat and sheep. The property is well equipped and tea, coffee, sugar, washing and dishwasher tablets are provided. No iron (we weren't bothered), no scourer sponge for stubborn grime and no summer quilts. It was really hot at night, especially upstairs. The sofa pads do slip off easily but the beds are really comfy. Lovely big kitchen table for meals/socialising and great views through the tri-folds.It was really hot our first few days there but sadly we couldn't open any of the windows/doors due to the abundance of wasps that could come in. Home-made wasp traps and a lethal spray helped a little when we did open them but we were always on "wasp alert". We do hope that the nests can be located and removed for the benefit of future guests this summer. The 360 walk is a must, and we loved the driving castle safari suggested by the owners. Cruises/canoeing on the River Wye is fun and if you go to Monmouth go in the court/holding cells (free entry). The local cider, jam and ice-cream all went down a treat. The main supermarkets can deliver there too. There is a hairdryer and bodywash, shampoo, conditioner and handwash are also provided in both bathrooms.Communication ahead of the stay with Lesley was spot on. Once there though I'd recommend dealing with Russ instead.

Great cottage Stunning views Well equipped cottage from the kitchen to the garden. Hosts welcoming and on site for local information. The cottage also has lots of information on the local area. The hot tub is always a bonus especially with those views!!As a working farm it was very quiet. The cottage is a fair way from a town, village or shops, not waking distance, but food can be delivered and we brought what was needed anyway so didn't affect our stay. The local walk is beautiful and a 4 min drive to the Garway Hill, views are stunning. The cottage was just lovely, just what we needed.

The cottage is well equipped and with a contemporary design inside. The view is excellent and I stayed for long period outside staring on the rolling hills and sheep along the farm. It's on an isolated location inside a working farm called Little Garway. The nearest shop is 14 minutes and superstore is 23 minutes towards Hereford. My children even though they are all teenagers did enjoyed their stay. We walked to the nearest hill and visited the surrounding villages and castles.
