A complimentary sweet breakfast is included using free-range eggs from the owner's hens plus tea, coffee, milk, flour, lemons and sugar. A lovely touch on arrival.
Dogs stay free. The yurt is set in woodland so supervision is advised around the local wildlife. Sturdy footwear and a torch are recommended for the walk from the car park.
Nuthatches, woodpeckers, deer, owls and birds of prey are all spotted regularly. This is a working woodland, not a manicured holiday park.

To reach Wye Valley Yurt by car, head to St Briavels in Gloucestershire via the B4228 through the Forest of Dean. The postcode GL15 6TA will get you close. Parking is available 200 metres up the track from the yurt the ground is rough so be prepared and bring sturdy footwear and a torch for the short walk down.
The nearest train station is Lydney, approximately 7 miles away, with connections from Gloucester. From Lydney you'll need a taxi or pre-arranged transport to reach the yurt as there is no direct bus route to St Briavels.
