Amazing location and lakes are stunning! Peaceful and tranquil. Cycling around the estate was fabulous too with loads of places for picnic spots. The house was huge, and well stocked kitchen. The utilities however a little old now with some chipped plates and cups which needs to be replaced. The lake right outside the house needs some cutting back - thorns overgrown which scratched us while entering the lake. Loads of ducks which come to greet you and the hot tub was a huge win after a day paddling …. All in all a fantastic holiday and we highly recommend it! Thank you for a restful yet activity filled week away from work .

We had such an amazing holiday at Cuckoos nest, the surroundings and the view are breathtakingly beautiful and we would recommend to anyone!The property is lovely and comfortable, lots of amazing gadgets in the kitchen for those who like to cook (we didn’t use any of them!) and lots of little considered extras to make the stay even better - from loads of games to play, a games console for the older kids and even to some dog bowls for our dog which was brilliant!The only thing I would say is the bedrooms lacked storage, there were no real shelves in any of the bathrooms to put products on or to keep anything and the double room downstairs could really be doing with a shower! One shower downstairs for 6 people is not really enough, I’m not sure why there is a bath in the en-suite of the double downstairs but no shower? I think if the showers had shelves and there was an extra shower this property would have been perfect!The hot tub was a lovely bonus too,Thank you for a wonderful stay, I hope to be back soon!
